Service  Assistant-Surgeon Westcott served with the Bhopal Contingent in the suppression of the Mutiny, from May to July 57; in Medical Charge of 22nd Punjab Infantry throughout the Campaign in Rohilcund, and was present at the action of Kukralah, capture of Bareilly, relief of Shahjehanpore, and subsequent affairs on the 15th and 18th May, and the capture of Shahabad, and remained on active Field Service in Rohilcund, until February 59. Medal. Served with the Field Force under Command of Colonel Turner, during the operations against the rebels in Bundlecund, 59.
