Service  Major Trower served with the expedition against the Affreedies, in the Kohat Pass, under Sir C. Napier, in February 50. Served under Colonel Hungerford in Command of the Garrison at Mhow, in July 57, when he walled Magarnee, as that station was held by a very small Force, until relieved by Brigadier Stuart, Bombay Army. Favorably mentioned by Colonel Hungerford in his report of the doings at the said Garrison, July 57.
