Served with the Delhi Field Force under General Barnard throughout the whole operations of storm, siege, and capture; and in the action of Badlee-ka-Serai and Nudjufghur, under Brigadier Nicholson; and with a Column in the District under Brigadier Showers; and for services was thanked in Orders by Government and promoted to Major by Brevet. Medal and Clasp.
