Service  Colonel Seaton served in the Campaign on the Sutlej, 45, 46. Present at the battles of Ferozeshuhur and Sobraon, in the latter action he commanded the Regiment, and his horse was shot under him. Medal, Clasp, and Brevet-Major. Served in Burmah in 52, 53. Present at the relief of the garrison of Pegu, 14th December 53; and throughout the operations in the vicinity. Accompanied the Martaban Column under the Command of General Steel. Medal.
