Present in Medical Charge of a Detachment of the 2nd Punjab Cavalry with Colonel Maxwells Column, at Akbapore, near Calpee, and with the 5th Punjab Irregulars, at the siege and capture of Lucknow, and at the actions and capture of Bareilly and Shahjehanpore, in May 58; and with the Rohilcund Force at the actions of Russoolpore, and throughout the hot weather of 58 on the Rohilcund Frontier. Medal and 2 Clasps.
