Served with the Force under Brigadier Bradshaw in the Eusuffzaie country, in 49, 50. Served under Sir C. Napier at the forcing of the Kohat Pass, 50; affairs against the Momunds and Ootman Khails, in the Eusuffzaie country, in 52; and under Brigadier-General Chamberlain against the Belooch Bozdars, in 57.
