Medal. Present with his Regiment at Fyzabad, at the time it mutinied on the 8th June 57, escaped from that station, and eventually reached Dinapore, after having been twice taken prisoner. On arrival at Dinapore was posted to the 8th Regiment, which mutinied shortly afterwards. Escaped, taking charge of two ladies, from the rebels at Hazareebaugh, in the middle of July 57. |
