The names are also listed in the London Gazette: His Majesty has been pleased to appoint the undermentioned Subalterns of the East India Companys Forces, to take Rank by Brevet as Captains in His Majestys Army in the East Indies only: Their Commissions to bear Date the 7 th Day of January, 1796
