Summary Remarks  Notwithstanding the many reports in circulation, respecting the hesitation of the Killeoar to surrender the Fort of Kistnagherry, we are happy to have it in our power, on the very first authority, to declare that such accounts are entirely without foundation. The Fort was formally given up to Captain Alexander Read, almost on his first requisition - and he now remains in the quiet and undisturbed possession of it.
