Summary Remarks  Mentioned in an account of the Grand Army's attack on Tippoo Sultan's stronghold of Seringapatam. A garrison was left from General Abercrombie's Army at Poodicherrum Ghaut consisting of four or five hundred men, besides the sick and convalescents under the commander of Lieutenant Colonel Peche.
