| Surname | Wales | | Rank | Lieutenant | | Occupation or Status | Commander of Ship | | Location | Calcutta | | Summary Remarks | The Ship Cornwallis, bound to the new settlement at the Andamans, commanded by Lieutenant Wales, left the pilot on the 22nd instant, at 6am. Several Donies, laden with rice, passed the Cornwallis. A European was on board one of them, who said his name was Bristow, and that he had freighted the vessel for Coringa, but he had no pass from the Custom House, he gave a letter, however, to a European in Calcutta, who, he said, could explain the circumstances. | | Article Type | Departures | | Issue Number | Vol III, No. CXVII | | Date of Issue | 4 Jan 1794 | | Year | 1794 |
