Entry  Was made Commander in Chief of Holkar's force in 1767 by Ahlia Bai (q.v.), the daughter-in-law of the late Maharaja Malhar Rao Holkar I, and served her with devoted fidelity till her death in 1795. He was defeated by De Boigne {q.v.), Sindia's general, 1794, and ruled from 1795 until he died Aug. 15, 1797. .
