Entry  Surgeon on the Madras Establishment : the Qanoon-e-Islam, or the customs of the Muhammadans of India, comprising a full and exact account of the various rites and ceremonies, from the moment of birth till the hour of death, by Jaffur Shurreef, (a Native of the Dekkan), was composed under the direction of Herklots and translated by him : published in 1832 : a second edition issued at Madras, 1863.
