In India he visited the missionary stations, chiefly on the west coast and in the Madras Presidency : practised dentistry for a year in Madras : laboured steadily for years in his work of evangelization : his preaching was very successful : died at Bristol, May 20, 1853. He wrote journals of his journey to Bagdad and of his residence there. |
