Auchmuty to Java : distinguished himself : at Fort Cornells, and led the final attack on the Dutch General Janssens : then left India : in Holland, in 1812 : in the United States, in the attack on New Orleans : severely wounded, and died Jan. 9, 1815 : K.C.B. : Maj-General.
