Register Entry  At Surat on the 22d July Hakeen Meer Essa aged 80 years. He shared the Royal blood of the present Nawab and was a skilful Grecian Physician clever surgeon a profound Philosopher of the age; in which qualifications he leaves no one among the natives here to equal him. To these acquirements he added that of an excellent artist and was highly admired by those who knew him. He leaves a large family and a number of friends to lament his irreparable loss
