Register Entry  At Calcutta on the 11th July after an illness of a months Mrs Paula Young widow of Mr Thomas Young senior branch pilot honorable company's Bengal marine aged 61 years 2 months and 21 days. Few individuals had the good fortune of being so universally respected and beloved as the deceased. She was eminently distinguished as a friend to the Widow, Orphan and the poor generally who enjoyed her bounty to the termination of her existence. The estimation in which she was held was fully manifested by the large number nearly three hundred and fifty who followed her remains to pay the last tribute due to her memory. She has bequeathed a donation to the District Charitable Society to which her son has been affording his gratuitous services for the last four years.
