Register Entry  In Kandy in No 1 Division on the 3rd February at 2 o'clock PM the infant son of DCP De Sylva Esq Karoonaratna Javeteleka late Chief Modliar of the EP Modliar and Interpreter of the Cutchery of Trincumalie, after a painful illness of 15 days aged 7 months and 10 days his remains were buried in the Roman Chapel with great respect followed by respectable Headmen and a circle of relations and friends who deeply mourn the loss
