Register Entry  On the 9th October at this residence No 26 Dhurumtollah, William Balston Esq of the Accountant General Office aged 52 years. An old Commander of vessels belonging to this port, Mr Balston was very generally known and esteemed among the mercantile community of the settlement while he discharged of the duties entrusted to him in the department when he was serving, insured him the respect and good will of all. Mr Balston has left a family, and numerous connexions to lament the loss of that worth his uniform integrity and kind-heartedness has taught them to appreciate
