Register Entry  At Kirkee on the 8th April Troop Sergeant Major William Mills of the 14th Light Dragoons. He had served nearly 20 years in the regiment during the last nine of which he fulfilled the active duties of the trustworthy situation he held to the satisfaction and with the approbation of his superiors - he was respected and beloved by all who knew him and died deeply regretted and lamented by his brother non-commissioned officers leaving an afflicted widow to deplore his loss.
