Capt Prescott has held the office of political agent at Pahlanpore for upwards of ten years and had always enjoyed the approbation and confidence of Government: the amiableness of his private relations and personal bearing towards the local authorities and people of Pahlanpore has been acknowledged by the most inequivocal proof of their esteem and regret on his departure.
