Body of text  MACDONALD, DONALD, born Killen, Avoch, 22nd September 1891, son of John M and Janet Grigor; educated at Fortrose Academy and University of Aberdeen; MA (1913); BD (1920); licensed by Presbytery of Aberdeen 29th August 1916; served in European War, 1916-18; assistant at St Ninian's, Stirling, 1919-21; ordained to Coltness 21st April 1921; appointed to Indian chaplaincy 17th December 1924; probationary chaplain to Cameronians at Quetta in 1927. Married 11th April 1922, Edith, daughter of George Bisset and Anne Robb, Aberdeen.
