Body of text  MACMICHAEL, DAVID COLVILLE, born 25th November 1866, son of Neil M, minister of Craignish, and brother of Duncan M, minister of Largo; educated at Royal High School and University of Edinburgh; MA (1887), BD (1891); licensed by Presbytery of Inveraray in 1891; assistant at Ardgour and St Columba's, Glasgow; ordained to Gaelic Parish, Greenock, 27th September 1892 ; appointed to St Andrew's Church, Colombo, 30th September 1912; returned to Scotland and admitted to Duncansburgh (Fort William) 15th December 1922. Married 27th June 1893, Jean Grace Marion, daughter of William Govan.
