Body of text  EDMOND STEUART RUSSELL, born 16th January 1868, son of John R, minister of Grange, Banffshire; educated at Milne's Institution, Fochabers, Old Aberdeen Grammar School, and University of Aberdeen and Edinburgh; MA (1888); licensed by Presbytery of Edinburgh in 1891; assistant at Dalziel, Dreghorn, Dumfries, and Boarhills; ordained to Scots Kirk, Kandy, Ceylon, 15th March 1903; demitted in 1909, admitted to this parish 12th January 1920; translated to Arisaig 29th March 1926 ; translated to Inverkeithny 12th August 1926. Married 13th April 1922, Penelope Ann, daughter of James Summers, Aberdeen, and Barbara Edward.
