Body of text  JOHN BELL, born Geneva, Italy, 15th August 1889, son of Dr James Bell and Maria Lillianna Amadis ; eucated at Universities of Glasgow, London, and Sienna ; served in European War in King's Own Royal Lancashire Regiment in France and Belgium (despatches), wounded July 1916 ; liaiso officer to Italian Delegation ; studied Law ; admitted advocate in High Court of Baluchistan ; licensed by Prestytery of Glasgow in 1917 ; assistant at Dunblane ; ordained as Indian chaplain 23rd May 1920 ; admitted here (St Fergus) 10th September 1925.
