Body of text  ROBERT HENDERSON, born 2nd November, 1825, youngest son of Richard H, Solicitor, Haddington; educated at Glasgow University; licensed by Presbytery of Glasgow; ordained 10th January, 1850; appointed chaplain at Calcutta 8th July, 1851, and in Northern Provinces of India in 1868; resigned in 1871; died at Nice 27th September, 1897. He married (1), 29th July 1851; (2) 8th February, 1858; (3) 20th December, 1866, Helen Christina Meikle, who died 21st June, 1907
