Register Entry  At Sea on the 30th September last on board the Jessie Logan indiaman, on her passage from Calcutta to England where he had been ordered for the recovery of his health Thomas Maitland Travers esq lieut 51st regt Bengal N I second son of the late major general Sir Robert Travers KCM He has two brothers in the service one of whom has been through the whole of the Afghanistan campaign and three times wounded The other is in China were he has borne part in all the expeditions of the British and been once wounded Both have been honourably mentioned in the despatches sent home and live we hope to reap the reward of their services while their brother though not exposed to the perils which they escaped has fallen a victim to the climate
