Register Entry  On the 11th July at Moulmein at the age of 29 years 11 months and 24 days Mary Harriot the wife of Charles J Sutherland Esq leaving a disconsolate husband eight young children and a large circle of kindred and friends to mourn her early and irreparable loss. She adorned by a meek and cheerful christian spirit all the vicissitudes of life in which she was placed as a mother wife daughter sister and friend; and the whole christian community of the station from the lowest to the highest followed her remains to the grave to testify as well their respect for her character as their sincere regret for her early death.
