Register Entry  On Tuesday the 5th January of a protracted illness Ragoba Jewajee Esq late Head Clerk of the Military Pay Office and member of the Grand Jury aged 67 years leaving a disconsolate widow and a large circle of friends and dependants to bemoan his loss. To do good was the peculiar maxim with him and his extensive acquaintances in the Military Branch of the Service as well as among the native community at large imposed upon him frequent occasions from which he never shrank of practicing that maxim. He was one of the leading members of the Prabhoo caste of affable and social deportment. To his charitable disposition we owe the erection of a Dhurmsalla in Mahaluxamee and a Church in Wallkeahwer which will ever perpetuate his name
