A most engaging simplicity of manners; Becoming modesty, unshaken constancy in friendship; a warm, true, and high sense of honor; secured to this excellent young man the affections of all who knew him. In remembrance of his virtues, and as a mark of their indelible regret at his death his most intimate friends have caused this Monument to be erected. |
