His zeal in the discharge of the duties of his profession, his uniform kindness to the subalterns and privates of the Regt., and his friendly and social disposition, joined to his other virtues, rendered his death a source of real sorrow to the officers of the distinguished corps in which he had served above ten years. He died June 4th, 1808, aged 24 years. |
