Summary of Service  1830: Writer. 1833: Assistant under the Principal Collector of Tanjore; Assistant under the Principal Collector and Magistrate, Madura. 1835: Assistant under the Principal Collector and Magistrate, Coimbatore. 1837: Acting Head Assistant of Principal Collector and Magistrate, Madura. 1838: Register of the Provincial Court, Southern Division. 1839: Acting Assistant Judge and Joint Criminal Judge, and Acting Sub-Collector and Magistrate, Salem. 1840: Acting Assistant Judge, and Acting Register of the Zillah of Court, Canara. 1842: Assistant Judge and Joint Criminal Judge , Cochin. 1843: Sub-Judge , Bellary. 1847: Acting Civil and Sessions Judge, Bellary. 1849: Proceeded to Europe on furlough. 1851: Acting Deputy Collector of Sea Customs, Madras. 1852: Acting Civil and Sessions Judge, Cuddalore. 1853: Civil and Sessions Judge, Trichinolpoly. 1858: On medical leave to Europe for 18 months. 1860: Resumed Charge of Office. 1866: Resigned the service, in February. (Annuitant).
