Summary of Service  1828: Writer. 1830: Assistant to the Accountant-General. 1832: Acting Head Assistant, afterwards Senior Assistant, to the Accountant-General. 1834: Register to the Provincial Court, Centre Division; Acting Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate of North Arcot. 1836: Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate of North Arcot. 1838: At home on private affairs. 1839: Returned to India, per ""Thomas Grenville."" 1840: Out of employ. 1842: Head Assistant to Accountant-General; Collector and Magistrate, Southern Division of Arcot. Died, 4th November 1843, at the Cape of Good Hope.
