Summary of Service  1830: Writer. 1832: Doing Duty in Secretary's Office , Revenue and Judicial Department. 1833: Assistant to the Principal Collector, Coimbatore. 1835: Acting Head Assistant to the Principal Collector, Coimbatore; Acting Head Assistant and afterwards Assistant to the Principal Collector, Tanjore. 1839: Acting Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate , Tinnevelly and Tanjore. 1840: Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate, Tanjore. 1842: Proceeded to Europe on furlough. 1845: Acting Civil and Sessions Judge, Chingleput; Officiating Civil and Sessions Judge, Masulipatam; Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate, Rajahmundry. 1850: Commissioner to Inquire into the Post Office System of the Presidency. 1851: Collector and Magistrate, Cuddapah. 1853: Acting Collector and Magistrate afterwards Resident, at Tanjore. 1856: Acting Member of the Board of Revenue . 1857: Acting Secretary to the Government in Revenue and Public Works Department. 1858: Member of the Legislative Council of India. 1862: Resigned the service, 10th May. (Annuitant).
