Summary of Service  1819: Writer. 1823: Employed under the Commissioner in the Deccan. 1826: At home on absentee allowance. 1830: Returned to India per ""Duke of Edinburgh""; Canarese Translator to Government; Sherrif of Madras. 1831: Collector and Magistrate of Ganjam. 1832: Collector and Magistrate of Tinnevelly; Acting Principal Collector and Magistrate, afterwards Principal Collector and Magistrate of Northern Arcot. 1837: Principal Collector and Magistrate of Tinnevelly. 1841: Out of employ. 1842: Proceeded on furlough. 1843: Resigned the service, 10th September, in England. (Annuitant on the Fund, 1847.) Died, 13th April 1879, in England.
