Summary of Service  1796: Writer. 1798: Assistant in the Military, Political, and Secret Departments; Acting Dutch Translator; Assistant under the Commercial Resident at the Presidency. 1800: Deputy Commercial Resident at the Presidency. 1802: Deputy to the Superintendent of the Quality of Investment. 1806: Assistant to the Superintendent of the Salt Monopoly. 1810: Commercial Resident at Masulipatam. 1813: Out of employ. 1814: Commercial Resident at Ramnad. Died, 17th July 1818, at Fort St. George.
