The data are transcribed from the book compiled by Charles Prinsep published by Truebner & Co in 1885.

Summary of Service  1831: Writer. 1834: Assistant to the Principal Collector and Magistrate of Nellore. 1835: Assistant to the Collector and Magistrate of Ganjam. 1837: Head Assistant to the Collector and Magistrate of Ganjam. 1840: Head Assistant to Agent, Collector and Magistrate, Vizagapatam. 1841: Head Assistant to Agent, Principal Collector, and Magistrate, Vizagapatam. 1845: Private Secretary to Governor. 1847: Proceeded on furlough. 1850: Returned to India. 1851: Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate, Salem. 1852: Agent to the Governor, Kurnool. 1856: Out of employ. 1859: Resigned the service, 1st August, in India. (Annuitant on the Fund, 1861.)
