The data are transcribed from the book compiled by Charles Prinsep published by Truebner & Co in 1885.

Summary of Service  1804: Writer. 1807: Assistant under the Collector of Customs at Madras. 1808: Proceeded to England on private afairs. 1813: Returned to India; Assistant to the Secretary to Government, and to the Revenue and Judicial Department. 1814: Secretary to the Police Committee; Register of Chingleput. 1815: Junior Deputy Register of the Sudder and Foujdarry Adawlut; Tamil Translator to Government. 1817: Acting Register of the Sudder and Foujdarry Adawlut. 1819: Secretary to the Board for Revising the Regulations. 1820: Secretary to the Board of Revenue. 1824: Third Member of the Board of Revenue. 1826: At home on absentee allowance. (Annuitant on the Fund from 1st January 1828).
