Summary of Service  1839: Writer. 1840: Assistant to Principal Collector and Magistrate, South Arcot. 1841: Assistant to the Chief Secretary to Government. 1842: Acting Head Assistant to Collector and Magistrate, Chingleput, and Assistant to Accountant-General. 1843: Second Assistant to Accountant-General. 1844: Commissioner for Government Lotteries. 1847: Head Assistant to Accountant-General. 1849: Proceeded to Europe on furlough. 1853: Acting Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate, Salem; Acting Deputy Collector of Sea Customs, Madras; Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate, Salem. 1855: Acting Civil and Sessions Judge, Salem. 1856: Acting Collector and Magistrate, Tanjore. 1857: Acting Collector and Magistrate, Acting Civil and Sessions Judge, and Sub-Judge, Salem. 1858: Acting Collector and Magistrate, Coimbatore. 1859: At first Acting, afterwards Civil and Sessions Judge, Salem. 1859: On medical certificate to Europe for 24 months. 1861: Assumed Charge of the Office of Civil Court of Salem. 1864: Six months special leave, extended to sick leave to Europe. 1865: Civil and Sessions Judge, Ootacamund. Died, 3d December 1866, in India.
