Summary of Service  1792: Writer; Assistant under the Secretary in the Political, Secret, and Military Departments. 1794: Assistant under the Commercial Resident at Tinnevelly. 1796: Deputy Commercial Resident at Ramnad and Tinnevelly. 1800: Commercial Resident at Tinnevelly. 1806: Third Judge of the Court of Circuit and Appeal, Southern Division. 1809: Third Member of the Board of Trade. 1813: Acting General Superintendent of Investments. 1816: Senior Member of the Board of Trade. Died, 1st February 1821, at Singapore.
