Summary of Service  1816: Writer. 1820: Assistant to the Collector and Magistrate of Cuddapah. 1822: Register of the Zillah of Masulipatam. 1824: Head Assistant to the Collector and Magistrate of Rajahmundry. 1826: Register of the Zillah of Cuddapah. 1829: Register to the Provincial Court, Southern Division. 1830: Assistant Judge and Joint Criminal Judge of Rajahmundry. 1835: At home on absentee allowance. 1837: Returned to India, per 'Mary Ann'. 1838: Persian Translator to Government; Acting Secretary to the College Board, and to the Native Education Committee; and Member of the College Board. 1839: Acting Register to the Sudder and Foujdarry Adawlut; Persian Translator to Government; Member of the College Board. 1847: Persian, Tamil and Telugee Translator to Government; Postmaster-General. 1854: Resigned the Service, 1st May in India. (Annuitant on the Fund, 1854)
