Summary of Service  1793: Writer. 1796: Assistant under the Secretary in the Military, Political and Secret Departments. 1797: Land Customer. 1799: Assistant to the Military Paymaster-General. 1800: Assistant to the Collector of Government Customs. 1802: Head Assistant to the Commercial Resident at Cuddalore. 1803: At Home. 1808: Returned to India; Deputy Commercial Resident at Salem. 1811: Commercial Resident at Cuddalore. 1815: Out of Employ. 1817: Commercial Resident at Nagore. 1826: At home on absentee allowance. 1829: Returned to India. 1830: Deputy Warehouse-keeper. 1832: Officiating Superintendent of Stationery. 1836: Superintendent of Government Lotteries; Acting Cashier to the Government Bank and Assistant to the Sub-Treasurer. 1837: Superintendent of the Government Lotteries. 1843: Out of Employ. Died, 11th January 1850, in Madras.
