Summary of Service  1826: Writer. 1828: Assistant to the Collector of Chingleput. 1830: Acting Head Assistant to the Collector of Tanjore; Head Assistant to the Principal Collector of Tanjore. 1832: Additional Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate of Tanjore. 1835: Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate of Bellary. 1837: Charge of Office of Principal Collector and Magistrate of Cuddapah. 1838: Acting Collector and Magistrate of Masulipatam; Acting Collector and Magistrate, afterwards Collector and Magistrate of Cuddapah. 1841: Collector and Magistrate of Southern Division, Arcot. 1843: Proceeded on furlough. 1845: Returned to India. 1846: Principal Collector and Magistrate, Canara. 1851: Third Member of Board of Revenue. 1854: Resigned the service, 1st May. (Annuitant on Fund, 1854).
