Comment	These are summaries of the Services of Service of Madras Civil Servants entering the Service from 1740 to 1858. Evidently, several of them continued to serve beyond this date. The data are transcribed from the book compiled by Charles Prinsep published by Truebner & Co in 1885.

Assistant under the Secretary in the Military, Political and Secret Departments. 1793: Assistant under the Collector of the Peiscush in the Southern Polygars. 1796: Collector of the Mannargoody Districts of the Tanjore Country. 1799: Collector at Peddapore, in the 1st Division of Masulipatam. 1803: At home. 1805: Returned to India. Died, 16th January, 1807 at Fort St. George.
