Summary of Service  1816: Writer. 1818: At Home. 1822: Returned to India. 1823: Assistant to the Collector and magistrate of Masulipatam. 1824: At Home. 1827: Returned to India; Subordinate Collector and Joint Magistrate of Tanjore. 1828: Deputy Collector of Sea Customs at Madras, and Acting Superintendent of Civil Pensions. 1830: Joint Magistrate on the Bench. 1832: Collector of Sea Customs at Madras; Member of the Marine Board. 1836: Acting Principal Collector and Magistrate of the Southern Division of Arcot. 1838: Collector and Magistrate, afterwards Principal Collector and Magistrate of the Southern Division of Arcot. 1842: Principal Collector and Magistrate, Cuddapah. 1845: On furlough; resigned the servoce, 5th December.
