	Summary of Service	1796: Writer. 1798: Assistant under the Secretary to the Board of Trade. 1799: Deputy Commercial resident at Columbo. 1801: Assistant to the Collector of Government Customs. 1803: Leave to Bengal. 1818: At home. Out of the service in 1820, and elected a Director of the East India Company, 16th August 1820. (Annuitant, 1822.) Died, 20th August 1839.
