Register Entry  At Ahmednuggur on the 6th August of cholera, Susan the wife of Color-Serjeant Henry Flaxman of the 3rd Bombay European Regiment aged 17 years. (August 20 issue - We have been requested by the Officer Commanding the Depot of the 3rd European Regiment at Ahmednuggur to state that the announcement contained in this issue of the 14th instant of the death of Mrs Flaxman wife of Color-Serjeant Henry Flaxman of the 3rd Europeans is a heartless hoax; Mrs Flaxman being alive & in perfect healt. We shall endeavour to trace the author of this unprincipled falsehood
