Register Entry  At the residence of his brother Revd Mr Nicholao de Silva of the Church of St Andrew at Bandora Mr John de Silva aged 33 years 4 montha and 16 days Head Clerk of the Deputy Superintendent of Boats at Kurrachee on Saturday the 1st Dec 1860 leaving a mother brothers sisters and numerous relations and friends to bemoan his irreparable loss
