Detail  Lately, Lieut. Walpole, of his Majesty's ship Gibraltar, of the wounds he received in the engagement against the French in the East Indies, on the 20th of last June. This young gentleman bid fair to share in navy honours, from the accounts of Sir Rich. Bickerton, bart. and Adm. Parker, of the Fortitude, under whom he fought against the Dutch at the Dogger Bank. He was son to Robt. Walpole, esq. in the commission of the peace for Westmeath in Ireland, descended from the ancient and very respectable family of Walpole in England, and, by his mother, from the ancient family of Sir Henry L'Estrange, bart. in Norfolk.
