The child was dead-born. Mr. Stowey's first wife, Elizabeth, the daughter of John Hinton, of London, gent. long since deceased, died of the liver complaint, at Fort St. George, in India, on March 23, 1784, aged 38 years, leaving issue Elizabeth, an only child. |
